In La Baule, in May!

From May 17 to 20, the International Jumping of La Baule promises its share of strong
emotions. At the heart of the seaside resort, the François André stadium will quiver under
the hoofs of the best jumping horses and riders of the world. Sport, well-being, large
spaces with the Atlantic Ocean in the background. In May, do what you like in… La Baule !


Now named « Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of France », the International Jumping of La Baule is more than a sport event. It is mostly an art of living where only talents confront. In the program of this 58th edition: 2 levels of competition, a CSIO5* reserved to the best riders in the world, and a CSI1* for the experienced amateur riders ; 19 international classes over 4 days and a prize money of 600 000 euros ; 20 nations, 150 riders, 300 horses expected on a legendary grass arena, totally renovated, where a part of the history of the equestrian sports has been written.


These are the terms used to qualify the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of France 2018, that rewrites the traditional codes and starts strong for the world elite.
As early as Thursday 17th May, the riders will have to perform in the FFE Generali class (3.05pm), unique qualifier for the Longines Grand Prix of La Baule held the next day (Friday 18th May, 2.00pm) ; an exceptional Grand Prix that brings together, every year, a complete panel of Olympic, World and European champions.

On Saturday 19th May at 12 noon, the traditional Derby of the Pays de Loire region will for
sure fill up the grand stand.

The main novelty of this 2018 edition is the final bouquet of the competition of La Baule, the
mythical Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ of France (Nations Cup). Held on Sunday 19th
May at 1.00pm, the only team class organized in France will line up 8 nations, among the
best of the discipline.
